So... lazy... (as if you can't tell!!)

August 14
I've been to Jupiter who knows how many times but had never been to this famous landmark. Mom asked what I wanna do before flying back home, so I chose to visit the lighthouse. (Just to find out later that Mom couldn't climb up because of her acrophobia, and there was a height limit for kids too... Doh!)

This red lighthouse has been serving the Jupiter inlet since 1860. So old that they couldn't find that special Fresnel lens at the lighthouse top to replace the one that was broken during the hurricane in 1928. They had to put the pieces back together and affix with the crossbar.

The small museum used to be the lighthouse keeper's residence and post office. I was laughing to see the food cabinet exactly the same as my mom's like 30 years ago being displayed in that museum... Darn! Am I that ancient?

Still so lazy... I'll just let the pictures talk now.

Then we went to Dune Dog for lunch. It was very simple yet super good. I almost had to roll out of there.

And that concluded our trip. Yey! I really made it by year end!
